PitchYemen's bargain

Another dictator unjusticed?President of Yemen, SALEH, has transfered his powers to vicepresident HADI, in change of legal inmunity for his crimes. demonstration against this cheap treat has already paid with some victims in Yemen. Another "clean" dictator, like Pinochet (UK saved his arse) or Berlusconi? what is this, a fashion not to pay for crimes?all USA/E.U. approved, by the way.

PitchGame in progress

The UN has designated November 25 as International Day for the Elimination of Violence against women: we want to be in solidarity with all Political Action Committees who are struggling all over the world to end the sad situation of discrimination, suffering and violence . But it's still a difficult game in progress ...

PitchCommonwealth common ground

As an anti-monarchist, I've never had much time for the Commonwealth (even though I know most members aren't actually under the Crown anymore). The inherently arbitrary nature of the alliance(?) seems to be a recipe for endless, unsolvable problems between the first and third world, which were recently highlighted at this year's Commonwealth heads of government summit.

PitchOCCUPY EU

(An updated and more realistic pitch.) The spread with the German rate kneels sovereign debt of the weaker economies of the Euro. Mrs. Merkel resists pressure to create a common tool of intervention, but what will be the effects on European unity?

PitchSupport OUR Troops!

Well, at long frickin' last, the media have finally gotten around to realizing that there's a class war on, and have finally gotten up the cajones to actually use the term "class war". What's even more heartening to me is that at last our side has finally gotten off the deck and is fighting back.

So, gang, seeing as how we're in a class war, that can mean only one thing: it's time to Support Our Troops!

PitchEgyptian Army and elections...

Riots between protesters and army forces continue goin’ on violently in Taharir Square and there is the possibility not to vote in the next days. The risk to have non-regular and non-democratic elections is really concrete ‘cause Egyptian Army haven’t got the intention to left power gained after the fall of Mubarak.
