A Slimas (Mr Baltic)

My name is Ali and I'm an illustrator based in Liverpool. I have a unique approach to my work which primarily focuses on current affairs and how they are conveyed through the mainstream media . Often featuring politicians and other key public figures it borders between satire and social commentary. ​ My academic background is in Fine Art & Media. I would describe myself as someone who is highly critical of the Mainstream Media. My biggest influence and a benchmark of what I regard as true journalism has been set by investigative journalist John Pilger.
