Doaa worked as a cartoonist in Al Dostor newspaper, Rose Al Youssef Magazine and Sabah El Kheir Magazine. She currently works at the prominent newspaper Al Masry Al Youm. In the field of children illustrations, she contributed in Qatr El Nada, Alaa-ElDin and Bassem Magazines. Participated in many exhibitions in France, Italy, Spain,Switzerland Tunisia, and won several awards: Local award from the journalists' union in Egypt for the best cartoonist in 2009 2013 Award in the art of political satire from Italy 2013 Saint Just le Martel prize france Certificate of Honor Membership of the organization feco Cartoonists France branch in 2012 2013 Award to Resist Violence against Women from( ACT) Organization 2014 Award from cartooningforpeace Organization Award from EGYPT Mustafa and Ali amin prize 2015 she has been nominated by the British broadcasting corporation(BBC) in list as one the most inspirational and influential women of 2016 2017 mahmoud kahil award in politic cartoons
