Mehedi Haque is a Bangladeshi Cartoonist, Comic book artist, and Art Educator who is known for his contributions to the Bangladeshi Cartoon and Comics industry, notably as the founder of Dhaka Comics, the executive editor of the satirical magazine Unmad, and senior cartoonist at the daily New Age. He has been engaged in the cartoon and comic book industry in Bangladesh since 1997.

Mehedi Haque founded AKANTIS, the first Cartoon school of Bangladesh. He also founded the dedicated Comic book publication  Dhaka Comics. His notable works includes the first Cartoon drawing reference book in Bangla ‘Cartoon Akibar Ko Kho Go ebong Khhiyo’. Mehedi Haque has been awarded the prestigious Narayan Debnath Comics Award in 2016.
