Yannick Vancolen

Trained as an illustrator at Saint-Luc Brussels, I began drawing for several newspapers and weekly magazines in 1989. I drew for newspapers such as "Demain le Monde," "De Wereld Morgen," Le Vif, and L'Express for over 15 years. Seven years ago, I created a Facebook blog called Bert&VANCO with the Belgian cartoonist Cécile Bertrand. I have been drawing alone since the death of my partner, Cécile Bertrand. My work is occasionally published in "Le Courrier International," the Swiss newspaper "Le Temps," and on "France 24". I am also a member of "Cartooning for Peace."
