The New PBS?

Say what you want about PBS and public broadcasting as a whole, but nothing compares to what this regime wants to replace it with. They are seriously trying to get Dennis Prager’s far-right propaganda group, PragerU, to replace it. Here is a list of things PragerU has said and advocated for:

They downplayed slavery, even justifying it by saying being a slave was “better than being killed.”

They softened the crimes of Columbus and defended European colonization.

They made kids’ videos that said Canada’s healthcare is worse than America’s.

They described George Floyd only as “a Black man who resisted arrest,” leaving out the larger issues.

They rewrite history and say that fascism comes from the political left.

Proclaimed white privilege isn’t real.

They released videos that blamed immigrants and Muslims for Europe’s problems.

They deny or downplay climate change, calling it “hysteria” and pushing conspiracy theories.

They made a film attacking gender-affirming care for transgender people, which human rights groups called propaganda.

Their kids’ shows (PragerU Kids) present their propaganda to very young children.

They have been allowed into public school lessons in states like Florida and Oklahoma, where teachers may even have to take a PragerU “ideology test.”

They are funded by wealthy conservative donors, to help spread an oligarchic message.

This is unacceptable. Where is the outrage everyone had for PBS?
