It’s Here

We, as a society, must come to terms with the fact that fascism it is not coming to America, it is here. Trump is nationalizing police forces while simultaneously sending the National Guard into blue cities for no other reason than to intimidate, control, and assert presence. He has undermined elections in the past and is now working to ensure that future elections are illegally skewed. He is arresting and sentencing people without due process. Every day, there seems to be a new action he takes that is not only illegal but also blatantly unconstitutional. He is working to have DOGE to oversee all elections. He and his party support the Unitary Executive Theory—which means they do not believe in checks and balances on the president. He is dismantling the regulatory system and the social safety net. He is working to end workplace protections. He wants to revoke the licenses of news agencies that do not cover him favorably. He is literally trying to rewrite history and control museum content to fit his agenda. And he continuously jokes about being a dictator. When someone tells you who they are, believe them.
