He Called Himself a What?

While I didn’t care who won yesterday’s game, being a Raiders fan, meant I was still happy to see New England lose. I’m not sure if you caught the Bad Bunny halftime show, or if you flipped over to the Turning Point halftime event, where the main act was a guy who literally has a song in which he proudly calls himself a pedophile. No, seriously! Weirder yet, this song was for a children’s movie, Osmosis Jones (2001).

He says:

“Young ladies, young ladies,

I like ’em underage,

Some say that’s statutory, but I say it’s mandatory.”

Yikes. While he thankfully didn’t perform or lip-sync that song last night, it’s still wild that this is the person they’re putting on a pedestal. It feels especially jarring given how often Trump, Musk, Bannon, and others on the right come up in discussions around the Epstein files, and that it’s Trump’s DOJ and FBI now facing scrutiny over how those matters are being handled.
