Gun control advocates in the United States are calling for urgent action after recent statistics provided by the U.S.Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveal that on average, nearly 1,300 children aged 17 or younger die from firearm suicide each year, with boys accounting for the vast majority of the victims.

The "health" plan pushed by Republicans Mitch McConnell. Paul Ryan and Donald Trump ("Trumpcare") is NOT health reform. It's intent is to cut regulations and taxes they dislike and to spite Barack Obama's health care system. The results if passed are a financial windfall for the wealthiest, and inadequate and unaffordable health coverage for the poorest and sickest citizens.
