SUMMARY
In the far reaches of the Arctic, where the snow stretches endlessly and the ice glistens under the sun, a young polar bear named Snowy begins to notice his icy world is changing. The ice is thinner, the snow hills are fewer, and patches of open water appear where solid ice once stood. Curious and a little worried, Snowy sets out to explore and understand what’s happening to his home.

On his journey, Snowy meets a playful baby seal named Splash. Splash is also searching for answers as he struggles to find a safe resting spot on the diminishing ice. Together, the two new friends embark on an adventure across the Arctic, encountering other animals like crowded walruses and elusive fish, who all share their challenges with the changing environment.

Their journey leads them to the wise elder penguin, who reveals the reason behind the melting ice: rising global temperatures caused by human activities. The elder penguin explains the importance of raising awareness about climate change to help protect the Arctic and its wildlife.

Inspired and determined, Snowy and Splash decide to share what they’ve learned. They dream of a world where humans take steps to conserve energy, reduce pollution, and protect their fragile habitat. As the story unfolds, the bond between Snowy and Splash grows stronger, showing readers the power of friendship and hope.

The book concludes with Snowy and Splash gazing at the Arctic sky, imagining a brighter future where the ice returns, the snow glistens, and their Arctic home is safe once again.
