Hi, I’m a Portuguese illustrator. My career has been a bit of a bumpy road, full of detours, and along the way I’ve used my drawings for everything from editorial and music covers to live drawings at concerts and theatrical plays, nightclub posters, storyboarding, etc. An area I had never really explored too deeply was political illustration/cartooning. But over the past two years—since October 7 and the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict—I discovered in this form of artistic expression a raw outlet to channel and express my anger and frustration with the world. And that’s what brought me to CARTOON MOVEMENT, and I hope you enjoy my work.
