Yaser Ahmad

Yaser Ahmad is a Syrian cartoonist and a graduate of the Teacher Training Institute. He began his professional career in journalism in 2005, contributing cartoons to numerous newspapers, magazines, websites, and news channels. His work has been featured in prominent outlets such as Al Jazeera (Qatar), Al Arab (London), Makkah and Asharq (Saudi Arabia), Syria News, and the English-language edition of Al Arab Weekly, among many other media platforms.

Throughout his career, he has received multiple prestigious awards, including the Arab Journalism Award in 2015 and 2019. He was also awarded third place in the Arab Cartoon Competition in Qatar, along with special prizes from World Press Cartoon in 2017 and 2018, in addition to several honors from international competitions.

Yaser Ahmad has also served as a jury member in numerous international contests and has participated in many group exhibitions worldwide.
