Red (Trump) Card
While I hated the red card that Balogun received in our last game vs Bosnia and Herzegovina, Trump’s self admitted interference in FIFA is not only beneath the office of the White House, but it’s also against FIFA’s own rules, and the United States Men’s National Team should be suspended, if not disqualified. According to FIFA Articles 2 and 15, this is clearly illegal. But nothing will happen because when an unbelievably corrupt institution like FIFA meets an unstoppably corrupt political administration like Trump’s, plain old corruption happens.
While I’m a slightly more than casual fan of the beautiful game, read this for a better understanding of what this cartoon is trying to say.
