The Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision, has given the Trump administration the green light to restart large-scale immigration raids in Los Angeles. Even worse, ICE agents are now allowed to consider someone’s race or ethnicity when deciding whether to arrest them. This is not just outrageous, it’s dangerous. The Supreme Court has just said it’s fine to target people because of how they look. If your skin is darker, you’re suddenly more suspicious. That’s not law enforcement, that’s legalized harassment. ICE now has a free pass to stop and intimidate, and it puts millions of people at risk for no reason other than the shade of their skin.
