Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Servitude.

Sometimes, in an effort to maintain power, a dictator restricts his citizens' freedoms so much that he turns them into slaves. But without realizing it, he too becomes a slave to a more powerful and ruthless dictator. In this primordial hierarchy of power, it is impossible to always remain at the top. There comes a point when the dictator weakens and is devoured. All he can do is meekly watch the agonizingly long demise of his greatness.
