Football Brings Us Together

In Yemen, years of war tore us apart — dividing neighbors, friends, even families. But when our national team qualified for the Asian Cup, something remarkable happened. For the first time in a long time, we were one. We celebrated together, cheered together, and cried together. Football did what politics couldn't — it erased the lines and melted the grudges.

I originally drew this cartoon for Yemen. But the more I looked at it, the more I realized: this isn't just a Yemeni story. It's a human story. It happens everywhere — wherever there is division, and wherever a ball can bring people back together.
