A Cartoon on The U.S. Supreme Court Ruling and the New Jim Crow
The U.S. Supreme Court decision in the case Louisiana v. Callais took away voting rights protections for minority voters by permitting states to use partisan gerrymandering as an excuse to eliminate majority-minority districts that would give minority groups representation in Congress.
The decision stated that a case needs to prove intent of racial exclusion rather than show redistricting results in racial exclusion. This sets an impossibly high bar to pass, and allows states to use partisan gerrymandering as an excuse to exclude minority representation in Congress.

Angelo, run with this one! Educate the masses of how detrimental this decision is. Minorities have so much to lose and we all need to understand the ramifications. Let's not allow for a White America. We are so much more than that.
