Tom Humberstone is the regular, weekly comic artist for the New Statesman and a frequent contributor to comic journalism website Cartoon Movement. He also edits and publishes the critically acclaimed UK comics anthology Solipsistic Pop which he launched in 2009.
His comics have appeared in the Eisner nominated Nelson (Blank Slate Books), the Thought Bubble Anthology 2013 (Image Comics), Paper Science (We Are Words + Pictures), and The Independent.
He won an Eagle award in 2009 for his first long-form comic - How To Date A Girl In Ten Days, and has self-published a variety of other comics including Art School Scum, the 24 hour comic Everything You Never Wanted To Know About Crohns Disease, My Fellow Americans (co-created with journalist Dan Hancox), and One Hundred Days in which he produced a comic every day for 100 days.
Tjeerd Royaards is a Dutch editorial cartoonist and editor-in-chief of Cartoon Movement. His work has appeared in Dutch dailies NRC Next, De Pers and De Volkskrant, German newspapers Handelsblatt and Hannoversche Allgemeine, Swiss weekly Weltwoche, French weekly Courrier International and Presseurop.
In 2010, Tjeerd received a Citation for Excellence in the United Nations Political Cartoon Award, and in 2014, he won 2nd prize at Press Cartoon Europe.
