A police officer was killed in a shootout in Paris on Thursday night and the attacker was "shot down," according to CNN affiliate BFMTV, citing the Home Office. BFMTV also reports that another police officer was seriously injured and an unidentified man was hit by "crossfire". BFMTV has not specified whether the unidentified man was an attacker or a viewer. Around 12 shots were heard. ISIS issued a statement Thursday saying that a "fighter" from the so-called Islamic State carried out the attack.
