A record number of French citizens do not want to go to the polls on the day of the presidential elections on April 22, according to a survey published by the French Public Opinion Research Center. Currently 32% of voters are going to abstain from voting in the first round of elections - is 2% more than two weeks ago, which shows a clear decrease in the interest of the electorate ...

PitchObama, 2008-2012?

Mitt Romney says Obama will be remembered as a footnote in history (not the starting point of this cartoon, I found this out as I was finishing it). Although I'm no fan of Romney, he does have a point. I would like to see Obama stay on for another 4 years, and hopefully achieve more, but it might be good idea to return the Nobel Peace Prize?

PitchThe new boogeyman

Watching the election campaigns in France and America, it's amazing how the conservative parties use Greeks like the "new boogeyman" in order to scare voters. Vote me not to become like Greeks!

PitchHappy Anniversary!

Here we are two years after the massive oil spill from BP's Deepwater Horizon rig which devestated ecosystems, fisheries and tourism along the US Gulf Coast. Our Exalted Boy Emperor and Nobel Laureate, Barack Obama, responded by sitting around saying nothing for a couple of weeks before giving a speech loaded with empty platitudes about our wonderful energy future.

Meanwhile, large numbers of eyeless shrimp and mutated fish are being caught by Gulf Coast fishing boats, Gulf fisheries are in deep decline, and not a single BP executive has served a day of prison time for this crime.

Pitchfake supporters

Bashar is already aware with the fact that his national and international reputation is below "0". that's why these days he's making some apearance in the TV with ridiculous fake videos of support and humanitarian aid like this one: http://www.lavanguardia.com/internacional/20120418/54284931316/asad-tratan-reflotar-desmejorada-imagen.html , while civil population keeps dying under his regime with no effective response of the UNO.

PitchLeaders for Cuba

Canada's Stephen Harper joined with President Obama to oppose Cuba's inclusion in the 2015 Organization of American States summit. They say Cuba shouldn't be allowed to join until it has a democratic government. I've never understood why this is considered so unreasonable.
