A Century of Silent Helpers is a 50-page comic chronicling the history of Cordaid (a catholic Dutch development aid organization), within the broader context of the history of international development aid in the 20th century. The story starts in 1914, when Dutch families take in Belgian war orphans who have fled the violence of the First World War. Next month we will publish the next chapter, telling the story of a silent helper during the Second World War. This comic is part of our project for Cordaid. The Dutch version is available here.
