This is the first cartoon by Sherif after Mubarak's decision to step down. It's also his first cartoon to show Mubarak in a recognizable way. The cartoon was republished by Dagbladet.

thanks for a great laugh ! very well done.
Thanks guys. I really appreciate your support.
Congrats on finally being able to draw your (former) President. It's a great cartoon and I hope the restrictions you've faced will continue to be lifted and/or become obselete.
Now let 'em rip.
@Sherif super cartoon. got my vote
Interesting to see how things will develop. How are the police forces taking the regime change? There will probably have to be some drastic changes there for the police to win back the trust of the people.
@Sherif Interesting. I'm curious to see how it's gonna develop.
More than you can Imagine! When they came on the streets, people hugged them and carried them on their shoulders, instead of fearing them. You can see hundreds of pictures of Egyptians kissing soldiers. We cheered up because we believe in the military. They declared that their duty is to defend Egyptians Not attacking them. Our problem was with police forces which was killing and arresting people to protect The regime.
How much do you trust the military?
The military declared they are in charge for 6 month only , to arrange the new elections. We LOVE them !
He he. Brilliant!
Now, is anybody going to make a cartoon about Egypt's military junta?!
Great one. Got my vote!
Thanks Giacomo. Thanks Chococo

Yes.. This is the first time I draw Mubarak and publish it!
Brilliant!! Does this cartoon also mark the first time you have drawn Mubarak recognizable as Mubarak?
