The IMF/ECB/EC troika makes Greece close down its state broadcaster ERT.
Manos, you are in the "field" and no one better than you can tell us how does it feel like the happenings that have been taking place in your country. Been taking a look on the cartoon you made about the same topic. Quite elucidative. I invite everyone to take a look at them too. Keep the good work flowing!...
Ykanello, I wouldn't have made the change if your comment didn't make sense. I care a lot about words and your suggestion made me think. Why insist in a word if we can find a better one? I thank you for your contribution.
Actually "ykanello" i was speaking to Rodrigo. But thank you for taking the time to answer me too.
Manos, this is my opinion. i lived only 21 yrs in greece, and thats my opinion from the ert i knew. i do not watch tv , local nor greek. if i hear your own personal opinion, i will think of what you say, think of your point of view, and i am willing to change my opinion in case you have logic and valid arguments. so far i hadnt had any of the kind. thus my objection to the original work of the artist. thank you for listening (reading) my opinion.
This is exactly what we are being told 24h per day from those who want to shut it off...
respect Rodrigo. :) not only you produce awsome political cartoon comix but also listen and even changed the caption. i am speechless. i am really moved. thanks
Good point, although we could use (and the press does it) both terms as synonyms. But I agree the "public" word has more of a communal connotation. Fixed. Cheers...
ERT was not Public television.it was STATE television. Huge difference. Citizens had no voice through the stations.Don't mix up things
