Steve Greenberg is an editorial cartoonist in Los Angeles and was the first American cartoonist asked to join the Cartoon (then called VJ) Movement. He freelances to publications and web sites in the Los Angeles area and beyond, following 30 years on daily newspapers in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay area and Seattle. His work has appeared in major newspapers and magazines and in over 70 books. His cartoons have won awards nearly every year including Citations of Excellence in the 2006 and 2007 United Nations Ranan Lurie Cartoon Competitions and the 1994 Global Media Award on population issues.
