We as western people give a lot of money to realise development aid, but is it "the solution"? Isn't it better to really DO someting? As you can see, and happens in real, a lot of money we give, gets lost on its way to the place where it's needed.
The world is carried by mankind. Poor and rich people carrying a globe, the rich people at ease and with one hand (maybe eating something), the poor people suffering carrying the globe using up all their powers and they are starving. Maybe some rich men reaching the poor people some food but never enough. Another idea is the poor people suffering to carry the globe, rich man sitting on top with bags of gold having a nice time, eating a hamburger etc.
The first picture is about an African boy sitting in the shadow of the MDG tree which protects him from the sun's heat. In the second picture the MDG tree has almost withered, meaning if the MDG's will be fulfilled or not.
the mdg's also include the topic fresh water. we want to help the third world countries with this problem but we don't want to give anything up to achieve this goal. the man is holding a big glas of water. and there is a stop sign on his hand which is pointing at the poor boy which is begging for water. instead of giving him some water from the enormous glas he gives him a small water well.
Israel provides a homeland for the so-called "Palestinians", which the Arab world never did, and they repay Israel by repeatedly attacking. When Israel tries to defend itself, it gets in trouble. The title is a line from "A Night At The Opera". Groucho sees Lassparri beating Harpo and he says, "Hey ya big bully, what's the idea of picking on this little bully?"
Children must always be allowed to go to school, but sometimes they are not, because there are wars in their countries. This must be stopped! Can somebody make a cartoon about this very important and pressing problem?? I would aprecciate it very much!
