Who Will Speak for The Trees?

It’s a day that ends in y, so you know what that means. The Trump regime is doing something that is terrible for all of us. The Environmental Protection Agency is doing the opposite of protecting our environment and instead is slashing regulations and policies. Last week they began to overturn their own conclusion that greenhouse gases endanger all of our lives and are a cause of global warming. This will be detrimental for our future and our children’s lives. They are removing emissions requirements for all transport vehicles and reporting obligations from plants and industries. In Orwellian doublespeak fashion, Trump’s EPA not only cut the regulations and protections, but they went one step further and said our old protections underplayed the benefits of increased carbon pollution. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said, “CO₂ [carbon dioxide] was never a pollutant.… The whole endangerment thing opens up the opportunity for the revival of clean, beautiful American coal.” We are fucked.
