The Voice They Manufacture

After the recent uprising, Iran is in a phase of punishment and message sending. The state has moved from street violence to a quieter, more systematic crackdown: mass arrests, disappearances, intimidation of families, denial of lawyers, coerced “confessions”, and rushed court cases designed to look legal while functioning as a conveyor belt of fear.

State television plays a central role. The goal is not information, it is manufacturing reality. A forced confession is propaganda dressed as evidence.
