Sinking by Suppression

Iran is in a cycle where public anger keeps rising and the state answers mainly with force. After the recent waves of protest, authorities have leaned hard on mass arrests, intimidation, harsh sentencing, and propaganda, including forced confessions and public “examples” meant to scare everyone else into silence. The result is the opposite of stability, each crackdown deepens rage, fractures trust, and damages the country’s future, like firing into the same boat you are trapped in.
