Merry Christmas Eve
When we see families coming to our borders looking for safety and getting torn apart, it helps to remember a story we already know about the most famous refugees. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph were once on the run too, forced to leave home and escape to Egypt just to keep baby Jesus safe from King Herod. Back when I was a youth pastor, I shared this message every Christmas. It never gets old, and sadly, it’s still something we need to hear.
