Epicentre Amatrice

The town of Amatrice in central Italy was the hardest hit during Wednesday's devastating earthquake, its mayor saying that one in ten people there are dead.

Now, as rescue workers toil on into the night the cries of those buried in the rubble of this 13th century town grow fainter and fainter, and it will only be a miracle if any more survivors are located in time.
