Beauty and the Beast: A Question of Copyright

To my annoyance, I came across my negative space illustration "Beauty and the Beast" on the internet today, under the tag "Beauty and the Beast" along with dozens of others, mostly characters from the Disney movie.

I estimate that probably hundreds of times my images have been taken from Facebook and this site and used without my permission. It's neat at first, but over time it's downright fucking annoying.

I'm asking the question today: What, if anything, can cartoonists do about the misuse/theft of their work?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
