I love British humor (or is it humour ;), but when it comes to Europe I don't think they joke much, especially not about their position in Europe.

hohohoho!that's true, I've noticed a lack of british, and germans. maybe the tradition of cartoons is not that spread in those countries?

I have to admit that we currently have fewer cartoonists from the UK than I would like...it might be that they also prefer isolation ;)

I think Europe could definitely do without their company, but I just don't think the UK can avoid being a part of Europe...however much they would like to.

I think it should be time for everyone to put the cards up. crisis help to that. Obviously britain never bet for E.U. and in every conflict his line position was according to the interests of its own economy ad those of their ex-colonies USA, Australia, New Zealand...). I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be a tragedy for continental europe the loss of their company?oops. I'm being politically uncorrect again :-). nice one!
