Keep going, a few more like these and you won't be able to contain yourself anymore and the big words will come out. Schönen Tag !

In English, there is an idiom called "Biting the hand that feeds you." This is what the Somalians have done, literally. Let 'em eat cake.

You are the one who makes assumptions about other people. You are the one who is prejudiced, not I. In English psychological terms, this is called projection.

Yes, you have a point about slavery. The native Somalians still discriminate against the Bantu to this day.

Their worth has nothing to do with where they come from. I think anyone who murders people there to help them does not deserve to live, and certainly doesn't deserve any assistance. You're the one who said basically that the Rangers had it coming to them.

Your first point, when it comes about the price/worthiness of a life : Priceless.

It just show us who you probably are.

Probably another blond + blue eye who think he lives in the "right country" by the "right way".

Pretending that someone is worth than someone else based on where he comes from .. "eurk"

Another funny fact, about your warlords & co : who are fulfilling them with weapons and most of all the ammo, who are manufacturing them ? (and please don't come with the AK47) this is like what's happening in Lybia & Afghanistan, our own soldiers (i'm French, surprise !) are getting killed by our own weapons/ammo that we sold in the past.

For the slavery thing, you may have a point about the past, but for the present time : just go there and see how they are treated, the one who are working on the extraction of the natural resources (which are used in our North country, europe, north america etc). And check really close on who are handing the truncheon, what companies, who give the orders.

@Elkios

1. I don't believe in the Bible/Koran/other, and I believe the life of one U.S. Ranger, particularly one on a humanitarian mission, is worth more than the lives of every Somalian on the planet.
Fun fact: no country that has had a free press and a freely-elected government has ever had a famine. Aid to Somalia is just throwing away resources until the country gets its act together. It will just go to warlords and/or black marketeers.

2. It would be difficult to pay the Somalis back for slavery, since they were the ones doing the enslaving (of the Bantus). American slavers got their slaves from West Africa, why sail twice around the Cape of Good Hope?

Get your historical facts straight, then you can come and open your mouth.

Thanks dear colleagues Enrico, Eliot and Groucho Beer, your comments are and important and no matter if you're agree or not, hearing your points of view is a priority.

Well done Arcadio.

Sure, let them die, and when they will be all gone, we will come on THEIR ground, stealing THEIR resources in peace.

Oh no, wait a minute, we already are on THEIR ground, stealing THEIR resources for other a century, or even for more longer if you count the f..ing slavery market.

Being a soldier means accepting the risks of your job, being send in Somalia to help, means that somewhere there is a "duty" to do it.

Just get back to your bible/coran/name your sect book and find the lines where it talks about helping your brother regardless of who he is what color he is and cetera.

If you don't want your soldiers in Somalia, then first pay back everything that have been stole there, plus the interest of the slavery market. Then you can come and open your mouth.

Why, so they can shoot down another Blackhawk helicopter and kill more Marines on a humanitarian mission?
